What is better than sunshine plus a holiday weekend to enjoy it? Nothing! Unless you are like me and you forgot the most elemental part of outside enjoyment, SUNSCREEN. This is how a holiday can turn from best to worst. The night spent tossing and turning trying to find the least uncomfortable position. I woke up tired and dreading the hike that I had been looking forward to all week. The idea of silk (let alone a sports bra) even lightly touching my lobstered skin made me want to scream. All of this made worse by my mother’s echoing mantra “don’t forget your sunscreen.” Well, Mom I forgot it this weekend. Which I cannot understand because I recently found the absolute best sunscreen in the world by Elemental Herbs. I really mean it, it is the best and it’s totally natural. It actually improves my skin. They have also found a solution to the natural mineral sunscreen problem, paleness. One variety has a skin tone tint so you can avoid that ghosty whiteness. Hurray summer sunscreen problem solved!
